These terms govern your use of the LingoGrasp app and website. By using LingoGrasp you agree to them. If you obtained the app through Apple's App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two conflict, these terms control to the extent permitted.
The service
LingoGrasp recognizes, translates, and reads aloud text and objects captured with your camera or chosen from your photo library. Recognition and translation are automated and may be wrong, incomplete, or oddly phrased — do not rely on them where accuracy matters (medical, legal, financial, safety, or navigation decisions).
Your account and your content
You can use the app without an account. If you create one, keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You keep all rights to the photos you capture and the text in them. You grant us only the limited license needed to process and store that content to provide the service — we do not use it for advertising or to train machine-learning models. You can delete individual scans, or your entire account and library, in the app at any time.
Subscriptions
LingoGrasp Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly; prices are shown in the app before purchase). Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel anytime in your Apple account's subscription settings. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Deleting your LingoGrasp account does not cancel a subscription.
Fair use
Cloud recognition, translation, and speech are metered services. We apply per-account rate limits, and we may suspend accounts that abuse the service (automation, resale, attempts to circumvent limits or access other users' data).
Acceptable use
Don't use LingoGrasp to violate the law or others' rights, attempt to breach or probe our systems, or scan content you have no right to process.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Termination
You can stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.
Changes
We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this URL with the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms; material changes will be highlighted in the app.
